- Each category winner will be presented with a trophy to denote your product as the best in its class
- Your product will be seen and evaluated by a panel of influential industry judges
- Winning products will be included in a winners supplement
The competition is open to manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of food, drink and equipment products for foodservice, whether national, regional or local.
Entries can be new launches or established products that have been available to the hospitality industry from 1 January 2016
Each category allows entrants the opportunity to win one of the prestigious trophies which will denote your product as the best in its class.
Each product is carefully judged by a panel of judges who use the following criteria: taste, flavour, texture, aroma, ingredients list, innovation, design, best-practice, customer service, packaging, presentation and price to choose the winning product.
The equipment accolades will be awarded to the suppliers or manufacturers who can demonstrate fresh thinking, advances in energy-saving and innovative use of technology and design.
The judges will also consider the nutritional value of the food and drink product and the success of achieving the supplier's own objectives for the product. All food and drink products in the competition will be prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions on the pack by the chef preparing the products.
Judging of the Food & Drink categories will be held in September 2017.
